Did Trump just ruin his popularity among Indians because of His tariff war on India aside from projecting a dark, villainous side of the US that made many Indians look at the US distrustfully and even incite hatred for the US among Indians?

Indians have always loved Trump in the past, since the ruling BJP government's anti-islamic views were also reflected by Trump at least in his previous tenure and his tendency to place US first in that regard which meant that people who immigrate to the US from such countries had to have a thorough background check before they could be allowed inside the country. Modi even considered Trump his friend and vice versa, there were instances when Trump referred to Modi as his friend. This mutual understanding between Trump and Modi made many in the ruling government in New Delhi think that India truly had a friend in the White House. This is also why although India was a part of BRICS keeping our nation's interests in mind to which Trump was opposed as he was keeping the US' interests in mind, India never gave the green light to go-ahead with the creation of a separate currency for the BRICS nations and was withholding its vote in favour of it just as Brazil also played a ro...

How does Trump imposing tariffs on India for buying Russian oil affect the partnership between both countries in the long run - my thoughts

Since the Cold War times, despite the fact of India being a country that shares the same democratic values as the US, India has always had an evergreen relationship with the US's arch rival and enemy - Russia or more specifically the USSR as it was called in those days, not because we wish to tick off the US but because other countries problems are not ours (same as with Ukraine), this does not come as a great surprise as in the past, whenever India and Pakistan had conflicts across the border, Europe was not shaking with concern to come to our aid, this is even as India is very nationalistic and nationalism is a very crucial nature of Indians, it was the US that always had a problem with Russia and vice versa whereas we never had the same issue with the Russia as a nation that was willing to sell us cheap and reasonably good equipment. The US on the other hand was supporting Pakistan - India's sworn enemy and this was based on whether countries leaned more towards ...

An old French poem of mine on God - Dieu de l’univers et amant fidèle de mon cœur :

I love writing poems in French and in Latin, although I have not quite tried writing them in the other languages that I speak, I am open to the idea as I feel inspired to do so. I started writing poems in French before I switched to Latin occasionally depending on my mood. Here is one of my older French poems which I had lost long ago when FB's notes feature was disabled making it impossible to write new ones, thankfully I figured out a way to retrieve it and I found this old treasure which carries immense weight for me personally as a creation of mine in appreciation of the goodness of my Lord Jesus Christ in my life. Here it is. If you are a francophile like myself, I hope that you enjoy it -  Dieu de l’univers et amant fidèle de mon cœur : Tu as parlé, donc furent formées toutes les étoiles ; Tu as étendu les cieux azurs en couches comme une voile ; Le soleil et la lune pour illuminer la terre comme un phare ; Et le ciel étoilé à l’arrière-plan n...

The USAF - Undoubtedly, the most powerful Air Force in the world but does its strength solely come from its technological ingenuity or also from break-neck diplomacy in defense sales of its aircraft to foreign buyers?

From the iconic F-14 Tomcat of Grumman showcased in Tom Cruise's Top Gun to the 5th generation Boeing F-35 Lightning-II and the Boeing F-47 not to mention everything in between including the legendary F-15 Eagle/Strike Eagle/EX, F-16, F-18, F-18 E/F Superhornet or its electronic warfare version - the F-18 Growler used by the Navy, from the ground attack A-10 to stealth bombers like F-117 Nighthawk, B-2 Spirit and the more recent B-21 Raider - the United States has undoubtedly produced so many extraordinary aircraft via its defense companies like Grumman, Northrop, Lockheed-Martin and Boeing among others. These have gone on, not just to impress military aviation enthusiasts around the world but have also been battle tested and proven themselves worthy. Yet the question arises, is it just the technological prowess and ingenuity of the USAF's defense companies like the ones mentioned above that have given the US defense establishment an edge...
