      October 7th 2023 was a horrible day in Israel, a day as horrendous as September 11th 2001 was for the US and the world. If anything, it shows that the world and Israel have a common enemy in Islamic terrorism.         It was an evening in 2001 at around 8:30 PM at night here in India, even before I started learning French at school when Tamil, my mother tongue was my second language- one in which I struggled to clear my second language papers which is what led me to choose French at school later.       Africa was home to millions of Christians way before Islam reached it via the Caliphates and their muslim armies in the Middle Ages.
